ABOUT OUR NAME
\ 'vvel \
VVELL is word derived from the idea of wellness and pride.
WELLNESS
Our philosophy is that we don't only design for physical functionality and health, but mental well-being. There is a conscious effort to focus on the vitality of our cognitive being. The two V's in VVELL, imply the W in Well. Additionally, the two letters create a symmetrical and balanced word that puts the mind at ease. This is yet another example of our focus on wellness and wellbeing in all aspects of our design.
PRIDE
VVELL is a adaptation of the Yiddish word Kvell (pronounced with a silent K), meaning "to be delighted," which, in turn, comes from the German word quellen, meaning "to well, gush, or swell." We strive to kvell in all aspects of our design, relationships, work, and lives. We are proud of our work and intend to create spaces, brands, and products that our clients can be proud of as well.
PHILOSOPHY
The lack of focus on the psychology of space has called us to address the importance of not only the physical implications, but the cognitive effects of a space as well.
Wellness and wellbeing have been brought to the surface in other industries such as food and fitness, but have not been addressed in our environments. The design of the spaces that surround us directly affect our mood, productivity, and how we use (or don’t use) that space.
How we design cohesive, well-functioning, and dynamic spaces can be described as through the design of the human mind, body, and soul.
